Accused Who Stabbed Labourer in Panchkula Industrial Area Arrested from Patiala

Panchkula, December 28 (Ishan Samvad): The Sector-19 police post team, led by In-charge SI Malkit Singh, arrested an accused from Patiala (Punjab) for stabbing a labourer in the Industrial Area, Phase-II, Sector-19, Panchkula.

According to police, the victim Hari Singh, a labourer, was abused and later attacked in the abdomen with a sharp weapon by his co-worker without any provocation. After the attack, the accused fled the spot after issuing death threats.

Based on the victim’s statement and medical report, a case was registered at Police Station Sector-20 Panchkula under Sections 115(2), 118(1), 351(2) of BNS.

During the investigation, the accused Garnail Ram, resident of Ram Nagar Chunni, Devigarh, District Patiala (Punjab) was traced, arrested and subsequently remanded to judicial custody.
