Accused Arrested in Cable Wire Theft from Tile Factory in Pinjore; Stolen Material Recovered

Panchkula, December 28 (Naman): The Anti-Vehicle Theft Staff (AVTS) of Panchkula Police, led by Inspector Sunil Kumar, has arrested an accused involved in the theft of cable wires from a tile factory in the Pinjore police station area. The police also recovered the stolen material following the arrest.

According to the complaint lodged by A. Ranganathan, a resident of Zirakpur (Punjab), unidentified persons stole cable wires by cutting them from the factory on December 11, 2025.

Based on the complaint, a case was registered at Police Station Pinjore under Sections 305 and 331(4) of the BNS, and investigation was initiated. During the probe, the police apprehended the accused Karan alias Jadu, son of Ratan Lal, resident of Mahadev Colony, Surajpur, from near Amravati underpass on December 27.

During police remand, the accused disclosed the location of the stolen cable wire, following which police successfully recovered the stolen property.

The accused has been produced before the court, and a request has been made to send him to 14-day judicial custody. Further investigation is underway.
