Panchkula, December 28 (Ishan Samvad): Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) district president O.P. Sihag has strongly criticized the recruitment policy of the Haryana Government, alleging that the present BJP administration is “depriving deserving unemployed youth of Haryana of fair job opportunities.”
Sihag said that while Haryana’s highly educated youth are being offered mainly Class IV and peon-level jobs, a large share of higher posts in several departments are going to candidates from outside the state.

He alleged that the appointment trends through the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) indicate that 70–80 percent of selections in several recent recruitments have gone to candidates from other states.
Citing examples, Sihag claimed:
in Assistant Engineer posts in Tower Utilities, 185 out of 214 general category posts were filled by candidates from outside Haryana
- in the Irrigation Department AE recruitment, 28 out of 49 general posts went to non-Haryana candidates
- in recent Civil Judge recruitment, 60 out of 110 posts were selected from outside the state
- in the Technical Education Department, 106 out of 153 general category posts were allegedly filled by outside candidates
He appealed to the state government to prioritize Haryana youth in upcoming recruitments and conduct regular recruitments instead of “contractual hiring through outsourcing avenues.”
Sihag further stated that a transparent recruitment policy with reservation compliance and merit protection is essential to restore youth confidence.
