There is chaos all over the country, government should curb anti-national forces: OP Singh

The central government should take strict action against those anti-social elements who are trying to disrupt the communal harmony in the country in the name of religion and are trying to create division in the society by using indecent and disrespectful language towards constitution maker Baba Saheb Ambedkar – OP Singh

The central government should take immediate cognizance of the killings of Hindus in Bangladesh and intervene promptly in this extremely serious matter.

Panchkula, 9th January (Ishan Times/Ishan Samvad/7Days News): Under the leadership of Jan Nayak Janata Party Panchkula’s District President OP Singh, senior JJP leaders submitted a memorandum addressed to Home Minister Amit Shah to Deputy Commissioner Panchkula Satpal Sharma, urging him to curb the designs of disruptive forces raising their heads in the country. Discussing this, JJP District President OP Singh said that for the past few days, we have been seeing that in some states, some anti-social elements, under the guise of Hinduism, are openly carrying out activities that flout the law and order of the country, which seem to be creating fissures in the country’s harmonious atmosphere. He said that in the Unnao case and Ankita Bhandari case in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, the names of senior BJP leaders are coming forward who committed heinous crimes like rape of girls and then carried out brutal murders. He said there is a lot of anger among the common people against such leaders and both the state governments. The memorandum stated that recently in Dehradun, some anti-social elements, reportedly belonging to a so-called Hindu organization, stabbed to death with knives a promising Arunachal student, Eizal Chakma, by calling him Chinese, even though the student repeatedly said he was Indian.

OP Singh said that things went too far when some members of a so-called Hindu protection organization, in the name of protecting Hindus, publicly displayed dangerous weapons and distributed swords, spears, lances, knives etc. among people in Ghaziabad and talked about targeting a particular religion. In the memorandum, JJP leaders said that in some places in various states of the country, people associated with Bajrang Dal tried to stop followers of Christianity from celebrating their festival on 25th December 2025, and deliberately set up loudspeakers in front of churches and loudly recited Hanuman Chalisa; in one place, in a mall, some anti-social elements even destroyed the pandal set up to celebrate the birthday of Jesus Christ. Singh said a similar attempt to create such an atmosphere was made in Hisar city of Haryana, which is generally a peaceful area. Recently, news came from Karnal that some people from a so-called Hindu organization threatened those selling meat and chicken on Tuesdays, warning them not to carry out this work across the city on Tuesdays.

JJP leaders said that in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, some people from upper castes among Hindus opposed constitution maker Baba Saheb Ambedkar by tearing his photos, used indecent and disrespectful language about him and even raised slogans of ‘murder’ against him. The memorandum also stated that in some other places too, anti-national forces are continuously trying to destroy mutual trust and harmony in society in the name of religion and caste across the country. If such people with dirty mentality and extremist thinking, irrespective of which religion or community they belong to, are not stopped in time, they will become a cancer for the unity, integrity and peace of the entire country in the coming days.

JJP leaders said regarding the daily killings of Hindus in Bangladesh that it is very unfortunate that large-scale atrocities are being committed on the Hindu population in the neighboring country, their property is being looted and they are being killed. Along with JJP District President OP Singh, JJP State Vice President KC Bharadwaj, Office Secretary Surinder Chadda, Halqa Kalka President Mayank Lamba, Youth JJP District President Deepak Chaudhary and youth leader Prateek Ahlawat submitted the memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner Panchkula and said that through him, they appeal to the Union Home Minister Amit Shah and central security agencies to identify such elements against national interest and take strict action against them, and to take immediate cognizance and intervene regarding the atrocities and killings being perpetrated on Hindus in Bangladesh.
