Chandigarh, January 03 – Haryana’s Energy, Transport, and Labour Minister Shri Anil Vij, taking a jibe at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi training district Congress presidents in Kurukshetra, said that it is an internal matter of the Congress. Taking a sarcastic dig, he said that training can only be given by someone who practices it himself, and Rahul Gandhi has been consistently taking such ‘actions’ for years that have led the Congress to lose elections. In such a scenario, he will definitely only teach how to lose elections.

Furthermore, on the allegations made by Aam Aadmi Party leader Anurag Dhanda regarding the alleged work-slip scam in the Labour Department, Shri Vij said that “Anurag Dhanda does not have complete information on this subject.” He clarified that this scheme has been ongoing since 2007 and several governments have changed during this period. Only after an investigation will it be clear how many irregularities occurred during which government’s tenure.

Current government completely serious about law and order – Vij

Countering former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda’s statement that law and order has collapsed in Haryana and BJP started the ‘Lado Laxmi Yojana’ only to win elections and gather votes, Energy Minister Anil Vij said that the current government is completely serious about law and order. He informed that so far about 1500 anti-social elements have been sent to jail and strict action is also being taken against the rest.

Minister Anil Vij questioned Bhupinder Singh Hooda, asking him to clarify how many anti-social elements he got arrested during his tenure. He said that only the current government is taking such action because during previous governments, these anti-social elements used to collude with each other.

Meanwhile, reacting to the case of charges of fraud and corruption being framed against former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and others in the Manesar scandal, Minister Anil Vij said, “Whoever does it, will pay for it.” He said that whatever was done has now come to light, however, he would not comment on what decision the court takes.

Reacting to RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s statement that RSS should not be seen only from BJP’s perspective and the Sangh is not anyone’s ‘remote control’, Energy Minister Anil Vij said that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is the world’s largest organisation. He said that in India, various independent organisations and wings of the Sangh are working, which take decisions independently at their own levels and are playing an active role in social service.

Distance to Delhi will reduce further after Ambala-Shamli Expressway is built – Vij

Energy Minister Anil Vij instructed officials to complete various projects related to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) within the stipulated time frame. He specifically asked for the speedy completion of the Ambala-Shamli Expressway construction work and said that the distance to Delhi will reduce further once this expressway is built. Similarly, instructions were given to complete the Ring Road project being built around Ambala soon, which will improve traffic management.
