Action Will Be Taken Against Those Conducting Illegal Elections in IFWJ: Vipin Dhulia

New Delhi, April 7 (Ishan). General Secretary of the Indian Federation of Working Journalists (IFWJ), Vipin Dhulia, has stated that strict action will be taken against individuals who conducted an illegal election within the organization.

He clarified that no presidential election has officially taken place in IFWJ. His statement comes after certain individuals allegedly conducted an unauthorized election for the post of President on Monday through fraudulent means.

Expressing concern, Dhulia said that even the basic constitutional procedures required for conducting elections were not followed. He pointed out that:

• No state units submitted their lists for approval to the General Secretary
• No objections were invited from members
• The electoral roll was not shared with the Chief Returning Officer (CRO)
• The appointment of the CRO itself was not in accordance with the constitution

He further added that the individual who acted as CRO had already faced disciplinary action from the IFWJ Uttar Pradesh unit, making the process completely invalid.

Dhulia emphasized that those responsible for organizing such незаконные elections have acted with the intent to weaken the organization. He confirmed that the disciplinary committee of IFWJ will initiate strict action against the persons involved.
