Panchkula, November 4, 2025 (Ishan Samvad) : In a significant move aimed at strengthening its grassroots organization, the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) has appointed Rajesh Kumar Nishad, Councillor of Ward No. 9, Municipal Corporation Panchkula, as the Panchkula Constituency President.
This appointment marks an important part of JJP’s ongoing strategy to expand and restructure its state-level organization. Alongside this change, the current constituency head Sohan Lal Gurjar has been elevated as the State Secretary of the Party’s Kisan Cell, reflecting the leadership’s intent to balance urban and rural outreach.
Rajesh Nishad is widely recognized for his active participation in Panchkula’s socio-political landscape and his strong connect with the Purvanchal community, which forms a significant part of the district’s population. His appointment is expected to boost JJP’s influence across both local and regional levels.
Expressing his gratitude after being appointed, Rajesh Nishad said,
“I sincerely thank our National President Dr. Ajay Singh Chautala, former Deputy Chief Minister and Senior National Vice President Dushyant Chautala, State President Brij Sharma, and Panchkula District President O.P. Sihag for this trust and opportunity. I assure the leadership that I will dedicate myself fully to strengthen JJP’s base in Panchkula and work with complete commitment toward the party’s vision.”
He further emphasized his plans to enhance coordination among party workers and to bring more youth and citizens into the JJP fold, ensuring that the organization remains people-centric and result-oriented.
Political observers suggest that this decision could alter the local political dynamics of Panchkula, as Nishad’s grassroots presence and credibility among the Purvanchal community may help JJP gain strategic advantage in upcoming electoral campaigns.
