Raipur, 4 November 2025 (Desk): The government of Chhattisgarh hosted TechStart 2025, a landmark event designed to promote innovation, investment, and entrepreneurship in the state. The initiative aims to position Chhattisgarh as a regional tech and startup hub for Central India.
The event brought together entrepreneurs, investors, industry leaders, and policymakers to explore business opportunities, investment partnerships, and technological innovation. Keynote speakers emphasized the role of digital transformation, AI, and sustainable technologies in shaping India’s startup ecosystem.

In his address, Chhattisgarh IT Minister said, “TechStart 2025 is not just an event; it is a vision for creating a thriving startup ecosystem in Central India. We aim to nurture innovation, attract investment, and provide resources to young entrepreneurs to scale globally.”
Several startups showcased innovative products ranging from AI-based healthcare solutions to fintech platforms and smart agriculture applications. Investors expressed confidence in the potential of regional startups to deliver scalable solutions that complement India’s national innovation goals.
Prof. Ramesh Verma, a keynote speaker at the event, highlighted that digital infrastructure and policy support have made it easier for startups in non-metro cities to grow and compete globally. “Innovation is no longer limited to Bengaluru or Mumbai. States like Chhattisgarh are rapidly emerging as important centers for technology and entrepreneurship,” he added.
The event also included panel discussions, investor pitch sessions, and workshops, providing participants with guidance on fundraising, scaling, and leveraging technology for social and economic impact. TechStart 2025 is expected to significantly boost regional investment, skill development, and startup growth in the coming years.
